 We have wrapped "Rescued!" Our  POC/ pilot episode is done! We had a blast shooting it. Such amazing talent on this project. Now to the post-production. Editing and sound design so to be afoot! My prayer is that we can move forward with the next step on Rescued . Very excited to start filming on "Her Monster" tomorrow. I am looking forward to being a part of this fun horror flick from the mind of Ted Tanaka. There will be lots of Behind the scenes stuff to share after!

  Yesterday we did some blocking and rehearsal for Ted Tanaka's "Her Monster" a horror short filming early next month. Her Monster has already officially nominated and is a semi-finalist for Best Screenplay!  Watch for Behind the scenes pics, video and live streaming!

Did some ADR on Phornix today, working with John Carr, Lyle Dillie and Ted Tanaka is always a pleasure! The film coming along! I look forward to it's release. I hear summertime!

Yesterday we wrapped another awesome film directed by Khuloud Kelly Rabadi . As usuall I got to work with some great AZ talent! One of the things I love most about this industry is the friendships that are made along the way. Most AZ actors and crew tend to be helpful towards each other. There seems to be a sense of lifting each other up as opposed to the alternative in some "other" markets. My AZ people show the love! #actorslife #setlife

I am thrilled to be working with the awesome producer Khuloud Kelly Rabadi. She has worked with some great talent like  Alec Baldwin, Demi Moore, Dylan McDermott to name a few. We will be doing a table read and shooting next week. I will be on set with some good old friends! Stay tuned!😁🎥🎥🎥

" 20 Percent" is near completion! We have been shooting this one for several months and are looking forward to it's release. This film should finally wrap by the end Feb 2021. Short Summary Cal wakes up in a stranger's bed with no memory of what happened the night before, or any other night. The woman he was with doesn't believe him at first, but his persistence gains her sympathy. Not enough to take him to a hospital, but enough to offer advice. She's got to go to work, after all. He's promptly kicked out and forced to try and retrace his steps. His phone is his only guide, and it's at 20 percent. With not much else to go on, Cal must re-discover the man he was, and decide if that's the man he still wants to be.  —BloodQuartz Studios

  Hey there! It's Rod, it's February 2021 I am excited about 2021! There is a lot going on, lots of projects in the works. I will update as I get more information. Script writing for my new faith based series "Rescued" is on going. Production is on hold however due to covid as we need real hospital ER and ambulance scenes filmed. I did re-write the short teaser trailer to that will work without having to use those locations and sets. I am in talks with a production company now and hope to start production in a month or two. I has mostly been cast already but I will post in the Facebook groups if we need more. I've been cast in an Independent film called "Her Monster" . This is a goodie from Ted Tanaka. an independent filmmaker in Phoenix, AZ. He works with a veteran owned non-profit called Creative Drill Sergeants that helps veterans and the community have the ability to express themselves through all levels of art.
